Premonitions

Have you ever watched Tom Cruise in THE MINORITY REPORT?

The movie centered on PRE-COGS (or pre-cognitive dreams/precognition, in the world of Psychology)
In layman's term, we call it PREMONITION.
Fortune tellers are the best example I could think who has pre-cognitive power. (Well at least that is what most people believe.)

I'm no psychologist (but am, in fact, a sociologist), and whatever is in precognition should have a sure-fire loophole other than coincindence or a force of nature.

I have written in this blog about my tales of career advancement. And while on the verge of giving it up and decided to settle for something else, I had a vivid dream.

I was all packed up and walking to a vast road with my family. There was sadness while I kissed my son goodbye and took off. In the next scene, I saw myself talking to a bunch of foreign nationals whom I directed to a place I have never seen before. Last I remember, I was at the port side (left side) of the ship, dressed in stuffy clothes while watching the glistening waves during sunset.

When I woke up, I eventually received a call from the agency, ordering me to report and finish what I have started.

A sign? A big bull.
I am a firm skeptic about premonitions since I could not come up with a factual proof of how could this happen in the midst of our lives.
Because premonition can be proven if we can change it.
Otherwise, it would just be a COINCIDENCE.

But I believe in the power of mind. I believe my mind gives me warnings and advices in different forms when I least expect it.

Confusing.

I think the mind try to help themselves in mysterious ways as much as they sabotage their very own existence and lives.

Bullshit or not, one thing is clear: My point of view isn’t as clear as a crystal just to what I thought.

Strange.
